We are not able to provide a website transfer or file transfer service. If this is a live website that is currently hosted elsewhere, you are responsible for moving the existing files and any databases to your new hosting accont. If you need assistance, we encourage you to search at elance.com, rentacoder.com, and other freelance sourcing websites, as well as the Warrior Forum.
As soon as you receive your hosting account setup email - you must visit the company where you originally purchased your domain name - and 'tell them' that you have this new hosting account.
You do this by changing your NAMESERVERS.
You will need to log in to your domain registrar and change your nameservers for the above domain. Please delete the current nameservers and change them to:
ns3.chrisfarrellhosting.com
ns4.chrisfarrellhosting.com
Note that most hosting accounts set up before May 15, 2011 are using different nameservers. Those are:
ns1.chrisfarrellhosting.com
ns2.chrisfarrellhosting.com
If you would like to see a video talking you through how to do this - please visit the following page:

It can take anywhere from 15 minutes to up to 48 hours for your nameserver changes to take effect. Usually it takes less than 3 hours, but it's up to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) as to when they update their nameserver information. You will not be able to "see" your website live on the Internet until the nameserver changes take effect at your ISP.
Please note that you will only need to submit a ticket for your first hosting account here. You can add hosting for any additional domains as needed through your Cpanel control panel for your first hosting account, using what are called "add-on" domains. Please see this page for information on how to do that:
http://www.chrisfarrellhosting.com/help/addon.php
Your user name and password are the same for both Cpanel and FTP access. For FTP, please use your domain name as the host name.
Both user name and password are CaSe-SeNsItIvE .
PLEASE COPY AND PASTE YOUR USER NAME AND PASSWORD INTO A TEXT EDITOR, TO REMOVE ANY HIDDEN CHARACTERS SUCH AS SPACES OR TABS, THEN COPY & PASTE FROM THE TEXT EDITOR INTO CPANEL, FILEZILLA, ETC. THIS IS THE MOST COMMON CAUSE OF LOGIN PROBLEMS. COPYING & PASTING ALSO HELPS REMOVE ANY UNCERTAINTY OF SIMILAR APPEARING LETTERS AND NUMBERS, SUCH AS I, l, AND 1 OR 0 AND O.

For your primary domain, please upload files for viewing on the web to the public_html directory. For add-on domains, please upload files to the directory you've set up for the add-on domain.
The server is case-sensitive. So File.html is not the same as file.html . Be sure you create exactly the file name you intend, and that you link to it exactly that way.
You must have a file named index.html (Not Index.html) or index.php in order to have a "home page" - that is, a page that your visitors can see at www.yourdomain.com - without having to type in a page name. If you visit your site and see something that says "Index of" and then a listing of file names, it means you don't have an index.html file present in that folder.
